Lucien Piccard Mens
After he graduated from the Polytechnic in Zurich, he went for the end of the 1860 Geneva a heating company to Paris. In 1869 he was appointed professor of mechanics at the Technical Institute of Lausanne. In 1872 he gave his academic position again, and founded in Geneva with Jules Faesch († 1895), a company. Starting in 1886, they built the Faesch-Piccard-turbine. After Faesch death, he teamed up with Lucien Pictet, Pictet son of the Geneva banker Ernest. During the First World War, she probably put her munitions for France. From 1906 to 1920 they built the car Pic-Pic, which was produced after four years of Gnome et Rhône.
